GADUGI Comes to Roseville, California

On Saturday, February 8, 2025, Cherokee Nation Citizen, Mike Webb and wife Liz along with their Native American Dog Jolene participated in their Neighborhood Cleanup Day. They joined their neighbors in the CirbySide Neighborhood Association. They cleaned and picked up debris along the winding streets and paths that follow Cirby Creek between Sunrise Ave and Cirby Way.

The volunteers were given mixed packages of wildflowers to disburse at their discretion. Mike explained to the volunteers that ᎦᏚᎩ gadugi is an ancient cultural way of life and practice for Cherokees. In short, it is working, helping, cooperating for the betterment of the tribe and communities.
