Visiting New Echota and the Cherokee Phoenix Printing Press

In 2022, CNCV member and Cherokee Nation citizen Jenny Rooney visited New Echota in Georgia. She had great fun learning how to operate the Cherokee Phoenix printing press. The one featured here is a replica based on the original press that the Georgia militia seized from the Cherokee Nation.
