Our campout this year is scheduled for August 23rd – August 25th at Frogtown Fairgrounds, 2465 Gun Club Road in Angels Camp, CA.
You can come for the day or spend the entire weekend enjoying the grounds, great food, great friends, and lots of excellent cultural activities.
We are planning an exciting weekend for your enjoyment, including Cherokee Nation National Treasure for storytelling, Robert Lewis as well as crafts, games, and Saturday night dinner together.
You’ll want to reserve lodging soon as it is on a first come, first serve basis at Angels Camp RV Park (https://angelscamprv.com/home/). We hope to see you there!
We could also use some volunteer help with our Saturday dinner prep!
Come help us make fresh frybread for bison Indian tacos, seasonal Three Sisters succotash, and delicious peach crisp to feed our hungry and wonderful Cherokee community. We are looking for a few volunteers and will provide all instruction (want to learn how to make frybread?).
Email cncv.communications@gmail.com if you are able to assist on Saturday. ᏩᏙ Wado!
